There's news on the Sphere engine and tool development front!
- TurboSphere, which aims to replace Sphere itself by using modern libraries, has its first small test releases.
- Some development on Sphere 1.7, amongst which is a new version of the SpiderMonkey JS interpreter, which makes it much faster.
- Radnen's Sphere Editor is constantly being updated and improved and makes for a good Windows-based alternative for the current editor.

- Sphere 1.6 sees a Mac release, compiled and maintained by Rhuan.

- Kamatsu has taken over the website in a bloodless coup from rjt. Expect optimizations and other improvements, and report any bugs on the forums.
