There's news on the Sphere engine and tool development front!

  • TurboSphere, which aims to replace Sphere itself by using modern libraries, has its first small test releases.
  • Some development on Sphere 1.7, amongst which is a new version of the SpiderMonkey JS interpreter, which makes it much faster.
  • Radnen's Sphere Editor is constantly being updated and improved and makes for a good Windows-based alternative for the current editor.


11 March 2011

  • Sphere 1.6 sees a Mac release, compiled and maintained by Rhuan.


11 November 2010

  • Kamatsu has taken over the website in a bloodless coup from rjt. Expect optimizations and other improvements, and report any bugs on the forums.

7 August 2010

  • Radnen's Sphere Editor is continuing to surpass older ones, watch or contribute here!
  • The forums are changed to better suit the community.

Hold the Line

A basic proof of concept tower defense game in Sphere. This was the winner to the first Sphere Compo series. The theme was puzzles/strategy.
